This week we celebrated the baptism of Bailey Molitoris with a special seaside sermon by Pastor Charlie! It was a wonderful occasion even for those of us who couldn't make it to the beach.

We tried to launch a Facebook page, but we were not successful in keeping it up to date. Sorry bout that.

We started it in 2018! We put a few posts up called, "My Prayer Today!"

This will help you grow in your connection to God's Word and God's Spirit as you read, reflect and meditate on the Word of God and the challenging thoughts.

Very Sorry friends, for the big mess up on July 3rd. If you were at worship, all of a sudden you were dropped from the call.

I was training a new "technical panel operator," and hadn't done a very good job at all. They had to leave the panel and they mistakenly hit "Stop Meeting," to leave. It was my fault for not doing a very thorough training job. Hope you forgive me. Thanks!

Visitors from Virginia

First Mobile Church was richly blessed this past weekend as we hosted five visitors from Virginia. We hosted Senior Pastor Tom Coye, Assoc Pastor Judy Thomson, Ruling Elder Linda Parks, Dave Alberts from St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Kilmarnock, VA and Randy Smith from First Presbyterian Church in Richmond, VA.

We had a great time of sharing on Saturday afternoon (9/27/14) and they were in the "nerve center" of First Mobile Church on Sunday morning (9/28/14) as the worship team conducted worship for First Mobile Church. They were able to join right in with laptops, an iPad, and cell phones. We applaud their efforts to do this road trip in an effort to discover where God may be leading them.

Seven of us celebrated communion on June 1st! What a wonderful way to gather virtually at the Lord's table!

Wow! What a great day of worship on April 6th! We had 12 people celebrate communion at the worship service! We gathered around a very large virtual table, that extended from West Grove, PA to Mt Joy, PA. We serve an Awesome, Powerful, Life-Giving God! It's wonderful to use a tool as simple as a telephone to connect sisters and brothers in faith to a caring community.

Trouble on Feb 16th

The conference call site went down at 2:55am on Feb 16th. This caused us to panic as we didn't have an automatic backup plan. I was able to salvage 7 callers by sending out a DialMyCalls.com call to some of our attenders and redirect them to the alternate number:
1-712-432-0360 access 164437# Please store this number for future reference, just in case.

Ministries that need your help

As this "effective, efficient" way of worshiping blossoms and blooms, we need your expertise in a number of ways. First of all, we'd love to have more input on our worship music. We need good, solid vocals, from bands or individuals who have the license to publish the music. Also, we need better expertise on musical selections in the public domain that are legally broadcast.

Another area in which to serve is the communications area. By helping to advertise, promote via text, email, Facebook, etc, we can reach more people with God's love and God's Word. Your own personal invitation to others is key in growing this movement of God.

And, since this is an innovative, cutting edge way of worshiping, we are not locked in to "particular" ways of doing things. We crave your creative input and innovative ideas to push the boundaries even further. Send them to me at: cwgross@gmail.com
